Bomar finishes 10th at PNW Senior PGA Championship

SEATTLE — Prairie Falls co-owner Billy Bomar finished 10th at the Pacific Northwest Senior PGA Championship, which concluded Friday at Rainier Golf and Country Club.

Bomar shot 77-74—151, 7 over par.

Bob Rannow of Ocean Dunes Golf Links in Florence, Ore., won by one stroke over Tony Robydek of Meadow Park Golf Course in Tacoma, Wash.

Rannow shot 71-72—143, 1 under par.

Inland Northwest Pickleball Club

offering ‘nearly free’ lessons

COEUR d’ALENE — Cherry Hill Park, 1525 E. Hazel Ave., is the site for upcoming pickleball coaching sessions.

Beginner level lessons are on Mondays from 9 to 11 a.m. on Sept. 20 and 27, and Oct. 4 and 11.

Level 2.0-2.5 (those who have just started playing) lessons are Mondays from 9 to 11 a.m. on Sept. 13, 20 and 27, and Oct. 4.

Level 2.5-3.0 lessons are Fridays from 9 to 11 a.m. on Sept. 17 and 24, and Oct. 1 and 8.

Level 3.0-3.5 lessons are Saturdays from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sept. 11, 18 and 25, and Oct. 2.

Cost is $10. Signups are at the Coeur d’Alene Parks and Recreation Department, downstairs at City Hall, 710 E. Mullan Ave.
