Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• SUI Detectives responded to PSB and interviewed a male (in custody on other charges) in reference to an eluding incident in Post Falls from June. The Detective ended up arresting the male for Felony Eluding, Leaving the Scene of an Injury Crash and Possession of Methamphetamine. He was also cited for Reckless/Inattentive Driving, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 21-23602

• A Deputy took two malicious injury to property reports on Painters Loop in Post Falls. There are several neighbors that seem to not be getting along.

• A Deputy took a runaway report for a male juvenile (#3 in August).

• Deputies responded to E. Amethyst Ct. in Hayden for an unwanted subject. The R/P called and said a woman he was dating came to the house and was very intoxicated. He asked the female to leave but she refused. The R/P said he offered to drive her home but she did not want to leave so he called us. A Deputy arrived and conducted a DUI investigation and charged the female for excessive DUI .297/.277.

• Several deputies responded to Pleasantview and Prairie for a non-injury crash. A semi-truck hauling a large piece of mining equipment was trying to make the round-a-bout and got stuck on a light pole. The truck stopped before causing significant damage. However, Avista and the Highway District had to respond, remove the light pole and clear it out of the way so the truck could go around the corner. Report completed.

• A Deputy responded to an unattended death. The R/P found his brother deceased in a camper on the property. The brother had health history including late-stage cancer. Nothing suspicious, Coroner released.

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to the Hayden Creek area after it was reported that multiple shallow graves were located. The deputies checked the graves and discovered they were pet graves.

• A Deputy responded to E. Aspen Way after P&P located drugs and paraphernalia there. The male was found to have fentanyl pills and paraphernalia. He was arrested for the pills and cited and released for possession of paraphernalia. 21-38558

• A Patrol Sergeant took a report of a missing person that was last seen in the 4th of July Pass area. The R/P reported his father as missing. He suffers from dementia and Alzheimer’s. He was last seen on 8/30/21 at 0500 hours.

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to Hwy 95 X Putnam for a suspicious. The R/P reported he was being followed from the casino by another vehicle and doesn’t feel safe. He also said he had been continually paged by Casino security. The Deputy made contact with the R/P and determined he was having a mental illness issue. He did not meet elements for a PC hold but was referred to crisis center. 21-38571.

• Deputies responded to Blue Creek Road for a welfare check. An RP stated her family had left to set up camp in the woods and haven’t returned. As deputies were responding the R/P stated she had made contact with her family who had broken down on the road but were safe. 21-38563
