THANKS: CAP to the rescue

| October 31, 2021 1:00 AM

My husband and I loaded up our pickup truck, with difficulty due to our age and infirmities of the moment, with refuse and recycling to take to the Ramsey Road Transfer Station.

We had figured out a system to unload everything when we finally entered the building, and were in the process of putting our plan to work when another truck, with a Community Action Partnership logo on the side, pulled up beside us to unload their refuse.

All of a sudden, we heard a man offer to help us unload! He and his helper came over and made short work of disposing of our trash.

Here’s a shout out of gratitude to those two men. You made a world of difference for us with your offer of aid. Thank you!

Editor’s note: It just so happens CAP — the Coeur d’Alene Food Bank — is in desperate need of volunteers like the two who helped the Hults. To find out more about volunteer opportunities, call 208-746-3351.
