No. 22 Washington State d. California 25-17, 25-17, 25-20: At Pullman, freshman Katy Ryan from Lakeland High had 10 kills and a .421 hitting percentage as the Cougars (13-7, 7-3 Pac-12) swept the Bears (7-14, 0-10) at Bohler Gym.

Washington State 89, Saint Martin's 38: At Pullman, Ula Motuga scored 17 points on 7-of-7 shooting, and Bella Murekatete, a junior from Genesis Prep in Post Falls, added 16 points on 8-of-9 shooting and also had three blocked shots as the Cougars beat the Saints in an exhibition at Beasley Coliseum.
