Patricia Louise (Highfill) Sanders, 101

Patricia Louise (Highfill) Sanders of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, died peacefully on Oct. 15, 2021, at the age of 101.

Pat was born in Hutchison, Kan., on April 2, 1920, to Louise Ward Highfill and Clyde Highfill. She met and married Jack Sanders in Pueblo, Colo., on May 1, 1939. They were blessed with two daughters: Marilyn and Dana.

She was proud of living in 22 different states but spent the majority (40 years) in San Leandro, Calif., before following family to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho in 2005.

Pat is survived by her two daughters: Marilyn (Brooks) Brown of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and Dana Beckman of Adelaide, Australia; three grandchildren: Janice (David) Richardson, Karen (Jon) Verbist and Eric Barnes; 18 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Home Instead for their great care over these last several months.

At Pat’s request, there will be no services.

Her final arrangements have been entrusted to English Funeral Chapel.
