HAMMOND: Earned our votes

We voted for Jim Hammond by absentee ballot for mayor of Coeur d’Alene and here is why.

He is former state senator and understands the legislative process.

He was the city manager of Post Falls.

He was the city manager of Coeur d’Alene.

He was the mayor of Post Falls.

He is well educated and cannot be intimidated.

He understands how to run city council meetings.

He is the most qualified person I have ever seen for the job.

His wife, Cyndie, has a Ph.D. in education and directed the Lewis and Clark College here in Coeur d’Alene for many years.

I was introduced to Jim and Cyndie by Frank Henderson, mayor of Post Falls, and immediately felt I had met a straight shooter and honest human being.
