Post Falls native leads Chiefs to victory

KENNEWICK, Wash. — Post Falls native Bear Hughes put the Spokane Chiefs ahead for good with a power-play goal in the opening minute of the second period.
The Chiefs earned their second win of the season with a 3-0 victory over the host Tri-City Americans.
Goalie Mason Beaupit posted his first career shutout with 18 saves in net for Spokane.
Jack Finley added a goal and an assist for the Chiefs (2-3-1, 5 points), who return to action Tuesday in Seattle at 7:05 p.m.
