AFGHANISTAN: A Biden catastrophe

| October 13, 2021 1:00 AM

Many, both in America and Afghanistan, were sorry to hear of the evacuation of all American troops but they realized the war had cost thousands of American lives, tens of thousands of injuries and trillions of dollars. It was indeed time to go home.

But the way the evacuation was handled by General Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Biden Administration, was typical of everything that has taken place since Biden took office. Absolute planned chaos, confusion and incompetence beyond measure.

Our interpreters were promised they and their families would be among the first to leave. That didn’t happen. Instead, thousands of non-vetted Afghans are now in our country while those who helped us are trying to survive after being left behind.

According to news reports, horrible stories of terror and mayhem are happening to interpreters, their families and those with close ties to America. Death squads are going throughout the country to make sure nobody escapes. Many are in hiding, fearing for their lives.

I have no doubt they vividly remember President Biden telling the American Press, “Do not worry. We will leave no one behind.” But he did and the entire world knows these undeniable facts about our American president: He has been untruthful and condescending with the American public, left Americans behind when he promised he wouldn’t, and his entire administration appears to be in lockstep!

Biden and his cronies are betting that America and the world forget about the Afghanistan withdrawal — our 13 American military heroes who were killed — the shame of America’s military leaders who didn’t step up, but stepped back. No, we will NEVER forget!
