STORIES: Each has two sides

| October 10, 2021 1:00 AM

I’ve written a few letters to the editor in an effort to inform the public of the fact that there are two sides to every issue. None of them have been selected to publish, so I assume they don’t fit the narrative of the local press.

Here’s an example: The mob that wished to prevent the local school board from adopting a mask mandate (most that we see are useless according to CDC studies) and the critical race theory (which most think introduces racism at an early age) seem to be a national concern. When a concern sweeps across the nation, it would appear to be worthy of some investigation and perhaps an opportunity to debate and adjust the policies. But now, I see that differences of opinion voiced by citizens, however crowded and vocal, leave them deemed terrorists. Scary as it seems America must be filled with terrorists like those at public gatherings that shout to do to Joe Biden what he is doing to America.
