NIC GOLF: Swan wins at Multnomah Invitational

VANCOUVER, Wash. — North Idaho College sophomore James Swan shot a four-under 212 to capture the men’s individual title at the Multnomah Invitational at Club Green Meadows Golf Club on Tuesday.

NIC had three golfers finish in the top nine to win the team title with an 892.

In the women’s tournament, NIC freshman Bella Gopwani was the top local finisher with an 81-91—172. Only Spokane, which won the tournament with a 676 and NIC (715) competed in the women’s tournament.

NIC competes in the Spokane Invitational next Monday and Tuesday at Indian Canyon.
