Mayor’s Awards in Arts postponed

Due to health and safety reasons, the 25th annual Mayor’s Awards in Arts ceremony has been postponed to a live stream event at 6 p.m. Nov. 4.

According to a statement, the health and safety of the community is the number one priority for the Mayor and City Councilmembers.

The winners are:

Excellence in the Arts

Blair Williams, Art Spirit Gallery

Support of the Arts

Kim Washko, Hands to Art

Education in the Arts

The Student Education in the Arts award nominations were extended and the winner is yet to be announced.
