MY TURN: Harwood hit home run

A big AMEN to Terry Harwood for his “My Turn” opinion in The Press on Saturday, Sept. 25.

I have been unable to understand how people are able to claim that they are Christians, but act and speak in a totally opposite way. How can anyone, let alone a Christian, object to the slight inconvenience of wearing a mask or getting two shots, if it saves someone’s life or eases the burden for our health care workers?

Selfishness, self-centeredness and ugliness toward people with a differing opinion, are not Christian traits. Thank you Mr. Harwood for your spot-on opinion.
