Man dies in U.S. 95 crash

A 50-year-old man was killed when the SUV he was driving crashed into a post Monday afternoon in Hayden.

Idaho State Police are investigating the vehicle collision about 4:15 on U.S. 95 at Lancaster Road.

ISP said the driver was southbound when he struck a traffic control post. He died at the scene, ISP said.

Traffic was partially blocked on U.S. 95 during the incident.

The identity of the victim was not released.
