Hagadone Marine Group kicks off gift drive

COEUR d'ALENE — The Hagadone Marine Group's annual Christmas gift drive is underway.

This year, it will benefit Children’s Village and Books for Tots.

“We’re excited to hold our 8th annual Holiday Gift Drive here at Hagadone Marine Group,” said Laura Wilson, who has led Hagadone Marine Group’s holiday program for eight years in a row. “Many in our community are experiencing challenging times, and we know we can count on our customers and local community members to help bring some holiday cheer to area children in need this holiday season.”

Hagadone Marine team members and community members are invited to participate.

“Christmas is a magical time in Coeur d’Alene,” said Vanessa Moos, chief executive officer for Children’s Village. “Each child we support learns gratitude for their community as they receive a beautiful Christmas filled with things they want, need, to wear and to read.”

The Hagadone Marine Group team has set up three Children’s Village trees in their lobby. Each is decorated with ornament tags that include a child’s gender and gift the child would like.

Participants can select a tag, buy the item, and return it by Dec. 14.

Hagadone Marine Group also added a “Book Bin” in their lobby. Donated new books will go to Books for Tots.

Hagadone Marine Group offices are at 1000 S. Marina Drive and are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
