Chris Bonagofski 56, made his final farewell on Nov 4, 2021, after a brief battle with cancer. Signing off on life, in his words, “well-lived with few regrets.”

God truly broke the mold when Chris was born on Nov 9, 1964, to Jerome (Jerry) Bonagofski and Elizabeth (Betty) Martin in Richland, Wash. If you asked anyone who knew him, they would all give different accounts of his character — he’s a mechanic, soldier, outdoorsman, life long friend, hero, father, husband, grandfather, son, brother, always the comedian and the life of the party. Though Chris was born in Richland, Wash., he found solace in nature, creating a life he loved in the heart of the forest with his wife Helen. He enjoyed all it had to offer.

Chris is survived by his parents, his sister Mary, brother Mark, daughters Crystal, Amethyst, and Tiffany and his beloved grandchildren and his loving wife Helen Ahnquist and her extended family, he was preceded in death by his brother Jerome Jr.

Funeral services are at 11:00 a.m., Nov. 19, 2021, at St. Thomas.
