Charlotte Ann Morgan, 68

| November 17, 2021 1:00 AM

Charlotte Ann Morgan was born in Livingston, Texas, on March 22, 1953, to Pansy Icard (Horne) and Raymond Horne. She was born into a loving family. Pansy was a stay-at-home mom and loved being at home raising her children.

Charlotte got married to Wayne Anderson on April 2, 1969. Together they had a beautiful daughter. Her name is Rhonda Bass. Charlotte and Wayne decided it was better to not be married and filed for a divorce on Feb. 28, 1975. She went on to raise her daughter until she met Francis (Frank) J.Morgan. Charlotte and Francis got married on Sept. 4, 1982. They were together for 39 years until he recently passed on Aug. 1, 2021.

In those 39 years they had two beautiful daughters, Tasha and Ashley. Between the three daughters they had nine grandchildren. She is survived by Miranda, Calista, Niles, Braiden, Jacob, Hunter and Brian. There are two other grandchildren that we were not fortunate enough to watch grow up. She loved all her kids and grandbabies to the moon and back.

She had a calling to help people, she went back to school to get her GED in a North Carolina community college. After her GED, she got her CNA license and was able to start doing what she loved. Helping and caring for people. She was in the medical field caring for elderly or incapable people for over 30 years.

Charlotte lived in North Carolina until Frank and her got married. They lived in Maryland for a short while then moved back to North Carolina. They moved around a lot within North Carolina trying to find the perfect fit to raise their family. They finally found it when they moved out to Idaho in the year 2000. They initially moved to Hayden, Idaho, and decided they would rather raise their daughters in a more rural setting, so they moved to Spirit Lake.

Charlotte and Frank were living in Garwood, Idaho, when Ashley moved back from North Carolina and moved in with them. John (Ashley’s’ husband) moved in with them in 2011 where they all resided until 2013, when they moved to Athol and lived there for eight years. At the beginning of 2021 they all decided to purchase a house together, where they all resided. Unfortunately, after a few months of moving, Frank lost his battle with cancer and passed on Aug. 1 this year.

Charlotte loved angels, God and butterflies; she was infatuated with butterflies. Everything had to have butterflies on it. She loved country and gospel music, watching Disney movies with the boys, and daytime dramas with Ashley every weeknight. She would say, “OK boys, time for bed; our shows are coming on”. Most of the time the boys stayed up for a bit and watched with us. She was a sucker for daytime dramas. We started watching all the cop dramas too. She once told me it was her favorite thing on the weekdays; she got to spend time talking and watching T.V.

You may be gone from this Earth, but we know you are always with us. Every time we see a butterfly, we know it’s you. We love you Always and Forever. You may walk and fly among angels, but we know you are watching over us. Enjoy those wings, Mom. You deserve them. You’re an amazing person and a shining light. You will be forever missed. I never say goodbye, because goodbye means going away, and going away means forgetting. You will never be forgotten, Mom; Goodnight, we love you.
