READING: Cheers to Syd, Cd’A library

I found Syd Albright’s article “Coming to America” very interesting and informative. I had just finished reading “The Farm in the Green Mountains” by Alice Herdan-Zuckmayer, a memoir of a German couple who were immigrants from Germany at the beginning of World War II.

I want to pay tribute to our city library for their good and helpful service. All through the pandemic, patrons have been able to order books by phone and members of the staff would bring them to your car in designated spots in the parking lot.

I don’t think there is enough recognition or praise for our wonderful library. How fortunate we are!
