ENT Ellen Travolta returns to Cd’A

| November 5, 2021 1:00 AM

A veteran of stage, film and TV, Ellen Travolta is returning to The Coeur d’Alene Resort with her family for her original production, “Saving Christmas.”

For the last nine years, Travolta and her ensemble of performers have shared stories of Christmas miracles, meaningful gifts and more.

A press release reads, “Last year so many of our holiday rituals, which are anchored in togetherness, were disrupted. We were reminded of how special it is to gather with those we love. As the holidays near once again, we look forward to sharing our community’s plans for the holidays after a year of longing for ‘normalcy.’”

Travolta, Molly Allen and Abbey Crawford will read and tell stories, sing songs and bring a little brightness to the holiday season.

This year’s show is directed by Troy Nickerson and accompanied by Jenny Shotwell on piano and Kristina Phillips on bass.

Opening on Nov. 26, the show will run every Thursday to Sunday through Dec. 19.

Thursday through Saturday performances will start at 7:30 p.m. Sunday shows will begin at 5 p.m.

Tickets are $30 and are available for purchase at cdachristmas.com. Overnight inclusive stay packages are available at The Coeur d’Alene Resort.
