SPACE: Waste of resources

So what, you can spend billions of money sending people to the moon and Mars? What about our first responders here on Earth? They make crap money saving people’s lives.

I say use all the people, all of them on death row. Send them to the moon and Mars and see if they live. If they don’t, oh well, too bad, no big loss.

But for just normal people to spend billions on going to the moon and Mars? Who really cares?

With that money they could help the elderly (all of them) and the veterans (all of them) live better lives with THAT kind of money! Why don’t they spend their money helping people here on EARTH instead of going to the moon and Mars? How does ANY of that help people on EARTH? It doesn’t. What is wrong with rich people, anyway?
