SIGNS: Question of prosecution

I have been encouraged to press charges for the theft of my property, political yard signs. I would like to address this issue.

I believe we should hold those accountable those who committed wrongdoing. I also am a strong advocate of personal choice.

Those who were affected by the theft of signs have a choice to press charges or not. Those who want to press charges are free to make the choice to do so.

Win or lose I am making a choice not to press charges. I have prayed over this issue and talked extensively with those I trust to help me navigate through my campaign. Honesty and integrity should be key values for our elected officials. While I’m choosing these values, it’s disappointing to see, not all our elected officials are.
