VACCINE: Let’s kill COVID

COVID cases are falling rapidly, almost plummeting, in states where vaccination rates are 50-60%. Two week rolling averages have been falling 25-35% in those areas.

Much of the country can see the end of the road. Here in Kootenai County, overall vaccination rates are around 30% … and rates of infection have been rising for weeks.

Unwillingness by many to wear masks led to very high numbers of infections, but now all we need is for more people to be vaccinated. Another 10-20% and we could turn the corner.

Instead, an average of 30 or so people per day are getting sick, many quite young. The vaccines are safe (100s of millions of doses … no one is falling over sick or dead), they work (even against the common variants) and they’re free. For you, your family, your friends, do it. Let’s be finished with all this.
