EUGENE, Ore. — David Hill allowed two hits over six innings, striking out seven for the Spokane Indians in a 4-2 win over the Eugene Emeralds in High-A West baseball in front of 676 at PK Park on Saturday.
Kyle Datres and Willie MacIver hit solo home runs for Spokane (9-14), which opened the scoring on a two-run single by Nico Decolati to take a 2-0 lead in the first inning.
Will Wilson and Javeyan Williams hit solo home runs for Eugene, which finished the game 0 for 1 with runners in scoring position.
The teams close out the six-game series tonight at 7:05.
