Charlotte Keane, 92

Charlotte Keane, 92, of Coeur d'Alene died May 16, 2021.

She was born Nov. 3, 1928, to Owen and Violet (Smith) Tanner in Boston, Mass.

Charlotte married Don Keane on Sept. 14, 1947, in Rockland, Mass. The couple moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1953 with their two young daughters. The family grew by a third daughter and three sons here.

Charlotte retired from GTE in Coeur d'Alene in 1985. Retirement gave her more time to enjoy walking and spending time with her growing family.

She is survived by daughters Pat Moran (Steve) and Donna Stath (Rick), and sons Jack (Ursula), Tim (Dawn) and Willy; grandchildren Lizzie Keane, Donald Moran (Erin), Kenny Stath and Jen Warehime (John); great-grandchildren Shayla Brawner, Stephen Moran, Chloe Moran and Calvin Moran.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband Don Keane, daughter Kathie Keane-Henderson, and granddaughter Serena Brawner.
