CDA Marathon on Sunday

The Coeur d’Alene Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K are set for Sunday and are expected to have a total of more than 2,000 runners. All races start and finish at McEuen Park.

The longer distances include stretches of the North Idaho Centennial Trail and are next to Lake Coeur d’Alene and the Spokane River.

There will be some areas around Coeur d’Alene where traffic will be delayed by runners.

There will be wave starts throughout the morning starting at 5:30 to ease congestion.

The 5K is sold out and the 10K was almost sold out.

Volunteers are still needed.

The event is a fundraiser for The North Idaho Centennial Trail Foundation.
