| May 28, 2021 1:00 AM

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office is requesting information regarding the theft of OSB sheeting from a construction site in Hauser Lake.

Someone driving a dark-colored picked up allegedly took 190 sheets of OSB sheeting early May 20. About 15 sheets were bolted together in the attempt to keep a thief from stealing them, KCSO reported.

The OSB sheets are painted blue on the edges.

OSB sheets are valued at about $60 each, which makes the theft in the range of $10,000 worth of material.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Detective Meehan at (208) 446-2274 or pmeehan@kcgov.us and reference case 21-21007. You may also leave an anonymous tip at www.kcsheriff.com.
