Opinion: Issues and individuals worthy of your vote

A lot of good people are asking for your vote today.

Hundreds of them are teachers and other employees in Post Falls School District.

Some are firefighters and additional personnel with Kootenai County Fire and Rescue.

And still others are seeking seats on boards that impact your life, ranging from the quality of care you receive at your community hospital to the highways you travel throughout the county.

While there might be no bad candidates on your ballot, some are distinguished in their records of community service. Here are the issues and the individuals the Press editorial board has endorsed - not because of what they say, but because of what they've done.

As you head to your polling place today, please consider supporting them, too.

COMMUNITY LIBRARY NETWORK TRUSTEE (2): Robert Fish and Michele Veale.
