| May 6, 2021 1:16 AM

LEWISTON — Kaycie Barber scored on a sacrifice fly to tie the game in the top of the seventh inning for Post Falls, but a walk-off triple in the bottom half of the inning by Samantha Mader gave Lewiston a 7-6 win at Airport Park on Wednesday, clinching the top seed and right to host the 5A Region 1 tournament on Tuesday afternoon.

With the win, Lewiston (19-5, 8-4 5A IEL) will face Coeur d’Alene (7-12, 3-8) in the opening round, with Lake City (14-5, 6-5) facing Post Falls (12-6, 6-6) in the other opening round game.
