Swan, a freshman from Victoria, British Columbia, earned medalist honors at the North Idaho College Spring Invitational on Monday at Circling Raven Golf Course in Worley, shooting a 2-under 142. Swan also won at the Spokane Spring Invitational at MeadowWood Golf Course with a 3-under 139. “He’s got good, natural ability,” NIC coach Russell Grove said. “I don’t think I’ve seen him down after hitting a bad shot. He did a good job of keeping the ball in play and was in all the right spots at Circling Raven. If he hits a bad shot, it doesn’t really phase him at all.”
