Jerry and Diana Gadek
40th Anniversary
Jerry and Diana (Steele) Gadek, of Post Falls, are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary.
Jerry works as an exploratory paraprofessional. Diana worked as a social services specialist and is now retired.
Their children are Jessica Frank of Monroe, Wash., and Jason Gadek of Snohomish, Wash. They have three grandchildren.
Jerry and Diana will be celebrating their anniversary with a vacation to Las Vegas on May 23, 2021.

Helen Vlahos
90th Birthday
Helen is a member of the Lake City Tappers and at 90 still tap dancing with vigor. Her friends and members of the Lake City Tappers treated her to a lunch and special tap dance to celebrate her 90th birthday. Here is the poem they gave to her.
To Helen Vlahos on turning 90: April 24, 2021
In many a language our Helen sings
She shares her joy of many things
To all her friends her love she brings
When tapping a dance she really swings
In shoes, skies or skates a memory rings
To 90 years of life she clings
And to our hearts she gives us wings
Her life is full, no need for blings
Our friend we love, she really zings.
