NIC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Cold shooting dooms Cardinals against Spokane

COEUR d’ALENE — North Idaho College shot 11 of 60 from the field and was limited to 15 points in the second half of a 50-35 loss to the Community Colleges of Spokane in a Northwest Athletic Conference game at Rolly Williams Court on Friday.

Freshman Kolby Pimperton scored 17 points and frosh Maggie Graves added nine points and nine rebounds for NIC (1-1, 1-1). Freshmen Layla Beam and Xuriyah Harry had 11 rebounds each for the Cardinals.

Dejah Wilson, a sophomore from Lake City High, had three rebounds and an assist for Spokane (3-2, 2-2). Emma Main scored 13 points for Spokane.

NIC hosts Big Bend on Tuesday.
