NIC SOFTBALL: Cardinals rally past Spokane

COEUR d’ALENE — North Idaho College rallied from a 9-0 deficit after the top of the first inning to beat the Community Colleges of Spokane 25-16 in the season and Northwest Athletic Conference opener for both schools at Memorial Field on Tuesday.

It was NIC’s first game at Memorial Field since 2016 due to renovations at the field.

NIC is scheduled to host Division II Humbolt State of Arcata, Calif., on Thursday at 2 p.m.
