INITIATIVE: Just say no, Paul

I would like to call on Representative Paul Amador to vote “no” on SB 1110. As the title implies, he REPRESENTS us, the citizens of Coeur d’Alene, who overwhelmingly do not support this bill.

Representative Amador voted against similar legislation (SB 1159) a couple years ago, protecting our voter initiative rights. SB 1110 will essentially steal our constitutional right by making it statistically impossible to qualify an initiative for a ballot.

This has nothing to do with political party, but it has everything to do with political power and taking power away from the people. By even introducing this bill Senator Vick has made it clear he does not listen to the overwhelming majority of us, turning his back on those who put him in a position of power.

Representative Amador, I implore you to actually represent your constituents and vote NO on SB 1110.
