Shirley C. Wachter, 93

Shirley C. Wachter, 93, passed away March 9, 2021 at the Schneidmiller Hospice House. She was born in Sunnyside, Wash., on April 7, 1927.

Shirley married Robert J. Wachter on Nov. 22, 1947. They built their home in Hauser, Idaho, and they were married for 66 years before Robert passed away.

She and Robert were long time members and volunteers of the American Legion Post 143. She was also a member of St George's Catholic Church in Post Falls.

They had three children: Sally Kohn, Robert Wachter Jr. and Joseph Wachter. There were numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
