MERIDIAN — Kaden Cripps scored on a double by CD Sharples in the seventh inning for the Post Falls, which played to a 4-4 time-limit tie with the Meridian Warriors to conclude play in the Idaho Central Credit Union Spring Break Classic at Mountain View High.

“We were down 3-0 and just weren’t hitting to start the game,” Post Falls coach Mick Zeller said. “We started hitting the ball, then left the bases loaded a few times. We’re just not getting the timely hit. We’re battling, and we’re in the game.”

Saturday’s game had 13 players hit by pitches between the two teams, with the Trojans reaching eight times.

“I’ve never been a part of a game that had that many people get hit,” Zeller said. “It was kind of crazy.”
