Ridge Lovett
Nebraska wrestling
Lovett, a sophomore from Post Falls High, went 1-2 in the NCAA Tournament in St. Louis, competing at 149 pounds for the Cornhuskers. In the opening round, Lovett defeated Peyton Omania 6-4 of Michigan State. In the second round, Lovett lost to Max Murin of Iowa 5-3 and was pinned in 2 minutes, 50 seconds by Duke's Josh Finesilver.
Jonny Hillman
Carroll basketball
Hillman, a 6-foot-2 sophomore guard from Genesis Prep Academy in Post Falls, appeared in 15 games for the Saints, averaging 5.1 points per game (76 total) with 15 assists and 15 steals. Carroll (20-8) lost in the NAIA quarterfinals to Southwestern Assemblies of God in Waxahachie, Texas.
Haley Loffer
College of Idaho softball
Loffer, a junior shortstop from Lake City High, was honored as the NAIA National Player of the Week, the national office announced.
There was little that Eastern Oregon could do to slow down Loffer over a four-game series this past weekend, finishing 7-for-8 at the plate with three home runs and five RBI while scoring eight runs and stealing a pair of bases. She reached base in 11 of 12 plate appearances. College of Idaho is 19-7.
Logan Hunt
College of Idaho cross country
Hunt, a freshman from Timberlake High, was named Embrace Health/Santiam Hospital Cascade Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week on March 15. Hunt won his second individual race of 2021, claiming the title in 26 minutes, 23.8 seconds at the Walla Walla Invitational.
Hunt led a perfect finish by the Coyotes, as C of I posted a perfect 15-point team score – with each of the first 10 racers wearing the Purple and Gold.
C of I returns to competition at the Cascade Conference Championships in Lewiston on Friday.

Currie, a freshman from Lake City High, finished eighth in the Warrior Invitational at Lewiston Golf and Country Club, shooting a 83-80—163.
