The junior right-hander pitched the first perfect game in Trojan baseball history, striking out 11 of the 15 batters he faced and allowing just one ball to leave the infield in a 22-0 victory over Lakeland last Thursday. "He was able to get ahead in the count, and once you get ahead 0-1, you can throw whatever you want,” Post Falls coach Mick Zeller said. “His fastball was overpowering, and you throw in that curveball a couple of times, it just buckles kids’ knees.” He also went 2 for 4 at the plate with an RBI and run scored.
