OPINIONS: Press misses mark

The dichotomy between Brent Regan’s levy editorial rebuttal and the publishing of the official newspaper editorial is an example of thoughtful, well-argued, and tempered opinion from Mister Regan and an unhinged, smear campaign and character assassination by the newspaper. Especially considering the Publisher’s advisory board and the creation of the civility group and their efforts to tone down the volume of the rhetoric and return some semblance of decorum to opinion and discussion in the public square.

Rather than present a thoughtful, intelligent argument opposing the KCRCC, The Press choses the worn-out tactic of labels, smears and name calling clearly demonstrating it had no sound argument to present in the first place. Come on Press, time to be adults now.
