MEAL: Thanks for act of kindness

On Wednesday, March 17, I took my two grandchildren to lunch at Elmer’s Restaurant. When we were ready to pay for our meal, I was informed by my server that another patron had paid for our meal.

I would like to thank that person for their kindness and generosity. It meant more than they may have realized that day. It was my late sister’s birthday and I was missing her but also four days earlier my niece, the daughter of my late sister, passed away.

This goes to show that you never know what someone else is feeling or going through in their life and one act of kindness makes a world of difference.
