| March 19, 2021 1:00 AM

On Saturday morning, March 13, 2021, Amanda Marie Messerly, loving mother of two children, passed away at age 31. Amanda was born on March 9, 1990, in Republic, Wash., to Diane and William Messerly. She attended Lake City High School and raised two beautiful daughters, Leigha and Lilyan.

Amanda was a local to Coeur d'Alene. With her unforgettable smile she could light the darkest of rooms. She was adored by everyone who met her. She was vivacious, loyal, spunky and strong-willed, kind and tenacious, with a loving and gracious spirit. She loved family gatherings, playing games and making people laugh. She loved spending time at the lake. She loved the outdoors and summer time, taking her girls swimming and fishing. She was an avid lover of Pop and Country music, attending concerts throughout the Northwest

Amanda left an immeasurable impression on every soul she touched. She was simply happy, genuine, forgiving, full of joy and light and she spread all she had to those around her. Her beauty shined outside and from within. Amanda lived with passion, integrity, courage and compassion. The epitome of a mama-bear, she was one of the most dedicated and selfless young mothers, whose ultimate desire was to give her two beautiful children the life they deserve, for they were precious to her. There wasn’t a soul on Earth she didn’t have a smile to offer or an interest in knowing.

Amanda was preceded in death by her father, William Messerly. She is survived by her two daughters, Leigha and Lilyan; her brother, Cody Messerly and his wife, Lindsey; sister, Shannon Stovall and her husband, Shawn; her mother, Diane Messerly; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
