Gwin, a 5-foot-6 senior forward, had 17 points, seven assists and four steals for the Royals (21-7) in a 71-13 win over The Oaks of Spokane Valley in the Mountain Christian League championship game at The Courts at Real Life on Feb. 6, the program’s third straight title. Against Lakeside (on Jan. 30), Gwin scored 20 points in the first half. “Grace always shows up for the big games against bigger schools,” North Idaho Christian coach Jerry Bittner said. “She’s just a team leader. When she’s working hard, the rest of the team follows suit.”
