AMERICA: Beware one cannon

Like so many others, you may have fears about the direction of our beloved country. Fear is only viable when there are no alternatives.

I was taken by an illustration years ago which depicted a battle for a castle. The picture portrayed enemies on the outside of a castle lobbing ordinances into and over the walls of the fortress. On the top of the castle walls, the brave occupants fired fearlessly back at the attackers.

The picture draws your attention to the projectiles flying in the air in both directions. What also catches your attention is a large flag waving valiantly over the patriots below.

The point of the illustration is less apparent. In the bottom right corner, almost hidden in the drawing and unbeknown to the battle-weary patrons of the castle, is a single cannon, armed by one antagonist, firing at the foundation of the castle. This caption reveals a badly devastated and crumbling underpinning of the fortress and the inevitable fate of those who dwell inside.

The danger to our great country is the same. The foundation is being eroded away by a single antagonist. Together we can overcome pandemics, election fears and even insurrections, if our foundation remains intact. Our Constitution protects the rights of a free people. As the foundation of our republic, it demands limited government. The single greatest threat to our republic, which daily erodes our foundations, is a Marxist led educational regime. This socialistic cancel culture has been empowered to rewrite our history to reflect their worldview.

What to do? Find out what is being taught in the university. Whatever that is, it is being spoon-fed down into high school and elementary education. Last thought: This elite group of antagonists, which will have control of all you think and do, will not let you join them; there is only one voice. Extra credit reading, the book “1984.”
