Mangia serving free pies for CDAIDE

Mangia Wood Fired Pizza, 2045 Tea Olive Lane, Coeur d’Alene, will be serving free pies on Saturday to benefit CDAIDE.

Mangia will be offering free 10-inch pizzas from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and asks that visitors make a donation in lieu of payment.

Pizzas run around $10 so the hope is to raise about $2,500.

If you can't afford to donate, you're still welcome to stop by.

Mangia uses a wood fired oven. Its menu includes pizza, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. It will have the full menu available on Saturday.

A CDAIDE representative will be on site to outline their services. The nonprofit serves those working in Coeur d’Alene area restaurants and hotels by providing resources and emergency financial assistance.
