A North Idaho animal rescue organization recently received more than $100 from local students.

Students from Coeur d'Alene eSchool donated $108 and made cards for Furry Farm Rescue were rewarded with a visit from Prue, Furry Farm Rescue's "pitty princess who dispels myths, and headed into town to meet these amazing young humans doing big acts of kindness."

The nonprofit Furry Farm Rescue was established in 2017 and is based in Rathdrum. Its next adoption event will be at the Freedom Acres Spring Craft Fair in Rathdrum on March 27 and 28.
