ROUNDABOUTS: How to make them
Please, not another roundabout!
You do not understand how to build them properly — they are an obstacle course dangerous at any speed and especially in the snow and ice.
I understand you looked to Washington state for a model — mistake. New Jersey knows how to build them, so they are safe and easily navigated.
First, you need much more real estate for a much larger circumference.
Second, you do not add s-curves before the circle to create navigation issues with any vehicle.
Third, circles should be two lanes in width and have wide approach and exit junctures.
Unless you re-engineer the circles (roundabouts), you have a dangerous traffic obstacle that is hard to transit at any speed.
Do not continue to build traffic obstacles!
