APARTMENTS: Bad fit at freeway

A 232-unit apartment complex at Government Way right at the freeway overpass is a potential traffic disaster for our city. Estimating between 250 and 500 cars going in and out at a single entrance point, which is what the property has, would severely impact traffic on Government Way.

Coeur d’Alene needs more housing and apartments need to be part of that, but this is a terrible location to even contemplate such a huge complex. The smaller hotel option makes more sense for our community.
