| June 23, 2021 1:00 AM

Forever Remembered! It is with great sadness on June 10, 2021, that Cynthia G. Petersen, 80 years old, our beloved mother, went to heaven while surrounded by family.

Cynthia, originally from North Dakota, resided in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She was employed with the State of Idaho Liquor Dispensaries for many years, and the Bunker Hill zinc plant. She worked hard endlessly for years. Cynthia loved her life on the ranch homestead, breeding and raising Paint Quarter horses, gardening, and traveling to the lake home on Kallarney Lake.

She loved Alan Jackson music, dancing, as well as devoted her time & energy for family gatherings, teaching grandchildren to cook, bake and pickeling pickels, along with inspiration, insight, charity and provided support and love, time, hugs and kisses with no limitations. Cynthia always made time.

Cynthia lived her life to the fullest with the brightest, biggest smile. She was a believer, God-loving woman and mom. She touched many and continued to touch many in some small way throughout her lifetime, yet led a very memorable, precious life.

Cynthia is survived by four loving children, Victoria A. Petersen, Missoula, Mont., Scott A. Petersen, Spokane, Wash., Timothy D. Petersen, Coeur d'Alene, Valerie L. Petersen, Coeur d'Alene, and many grandchildren, as well as great-grandchildren Peggy Schmoker, Gloria Carpenter and Beverly Lavon, all residing in North Dakota.

Cynthia is preceeded in death by her father, Cyril Authur, mother, Ann Authur, sister Dolly Derbyshire, daughter Renae Petersen, and grandson Brandon Petersen, both of Newport News, Va.

Celebration of Life will be celebrated at her favorite place, on Killarney Lake in North Idaho, with family at a later date.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen
