Members of the public are encouraged to submit their input on Envision Coeur d’Alene — the city’s 20-year long-range planning project — through July 2 in a series of virtual open house events.

Envision Coeur d’Alene, coordinated through the city of Coeur d’Alene and CDA 2030, is the comprehensive plan for land use responsibilities like:

• Current and future land designations

• Desirable goals and objectives

• Community design

• Housing and population data

• Economic development

• Public infrastructure services

The current document was developed in late 2019 and refined through city departments and partner organizations for several months.

Through July 2, the public is invited to share their thoughts on the draft plan, priority action items and future land use map.

Members of the community can participate through two live drop-in sessions on Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. and 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
