Judy Kay (Crites) Hatfield, 51
Judy Kay (Crites) Hatfield went to be with the Lord on June 13, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Garden Grove, Calif., on Jan. 1, 1970, and moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, in 2004 where she met and married Bill Hatfield.
Judy never lost her sense of humor or will to live life to its fullest. She was an example of encouragement to others and most happy when spending time and playing card games with family and friends. She would wake before sunrise each morning to read her Bible devotional, she never missed a day. She faced every challenge head on with determination, strength and tenacity.
She will never be forgotten and leaves an empty space in our hearts. Heaven has a special place for our Judy. We love and will always miss her. Her final written message, “Stay close to Jesus! Until later… Judy.”
Judy is survived by her husband, Bill Hatfield and 14-year-old daughter Dakota Hatfield; her adult children, Jennifer Hughes and Dylan Messer; grandchildren Morghan and Aubree Hughes, and Brody Messer; her brother, Charles Crites; and parents Del and Mary Still.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021, at The Church of the Nazarene, 4000 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene.
