CANFIELD: Simmering over sign

As I was driving down Hanley Avenue going eastbound and was approaching Canfield Elementary School, I was looking for the sign that was brought up at a recent City Council meeting. Because of the trees in the parking lot I could not even see the sign until I was almost next to it.

It seems quite ironic that, at a council meeting, several parents wanted to have a lighted sign so it could be more visible. This sign is just going to light up the neighborhood and the school district can’t even trim their own trees so it could be seen.
