Pizza, taphouse to open in Athol

Although focused on pizza, the new Iron Pizza Co. & Taphouse at 29801 Old Highway 95 in Athol also offers burgers, tacos and home-made pies. It opens Tuesday with a grand opening Saturday with Christy Lee performing 6 to 8 p.m.

The place has indoor and outdoor seating for 90 with plans for firepits and live music. They offer take-out and delivery to nearby areas.

The pizza options include red sauce, pepperoni, Andouille sausage, bacon, mushroom, honey, garlic confit, Arabian night, rosemary white sauce, red onion, prosciutto, figs, arugula, balsamic, goat cheese, garlic confit, gluten-free, vegan and keto-friendly crust option.

After completion in early October, the business will move from its nearby current address at 8382 N. Wayne Dr.

In the Northwest since 1982, their projects include fire stations, medical offices, education buildings, churches and custom residential. Cory Trapp joined the firm in 1984.

A new building for Open Arms Pregnancy Resource Center & Real Choices Clinic is under construction at 8067 N. Wayne Dr. in Hayden.

At 1800 Lincoln Way, Suite 201, in Coeur d'Alene since 2001, the pregnancy medical clinic will expand space for its growing services, resource and education offerings and a future conference center.

The non-profit clinic is a 100 percent donor supported faith-based ministry revealing God's design for human life, sexual integrity and reproductive health and is non-political and non-denominational.

They offer support groups, a clothing boutique and resources for medical, support and adoption referrals. Open 22 hours weekly Monday through Thursday with Mike Gutterud, Dr. Arlie Esau and Dr. Richard Hawk.
